Candle Usage Instructions
- Place the candle on a heat-resistant, stable surface before lighting.
- Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (6 mm) before each use to prevent excessive flame or smoke.
- Allow the candle to burn until the top layer of wax melts fully during the first burn (usually 2–3 hours) to avoid tunneling.
- Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts or fans.
- Extinguish the candle using a snuffer or by gently blowing it out — avoid splashing the wax.
- Relight only after the wax solidifies and the wick is trimmed again if needed.
- For best performance, limit each burn session to 3–4 hours.
- Store candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve fragrance and color.
- If the candle has decorative elements, allow them to stay clear of the flame while burning.
Candle Safety Measures
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep candles out of reach of children and pets at all times.
- Always place candles on a heat-resistant, stable surface.
- Keep burning candles at least 3 feet (1 meter) away from curtains, papers, books.
- Never move or touch a burning candle or a candle with hot, molten wax.
- Do not use water to extinguish a burning candle. Water can cause the hot wax to splatter or even break a glass container, leading to injuries or fire. In case of a fire, do not throw water. Use a Class B fire extinguisher, baking soda to smother the fire, or a wet cloth if safe and manageable.
- Use a snuffer or gently blow out the candle to extinguish the flame safely.
- Ensure the wick ember is no longer glowing before leaving the room or sleeping.
- Stop burning the candle when about 1/2 inch (1.2 cm) of wax remains to prevent overheating the container.
- Keep the wax pool free of debris like matchsticks, wick trimmings, or dust, which can cause flare-ups.
- Do not burn candles near open windows, fans, or air vents that can cause uneven burning or accidental tipping.
- Avoid grouping burning candles too close together; maintain at least 3 inches (8 cm) of space between candles.
- Never burn a candle longer than the manufacturer's recommended time (typically 3–4 hours per session) to prevent container overheating.
- Always monitor the flame — if it becomes too high, flickers excessively, or smokes, extinguish immediately, trim the wick, and relight.
